About me

My interest in counselling began whilst I was studying for my degree with the Open University, whilst this was focused on the Social Sciences, I was drawn to the modules about psychology. This planted a seed and I later went on to complete my diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

I have worked for over 30 years with a diverse range of people and organisations, within both public services (local authorities and the NHS) and the third sector. I have always been drawn to the human story and the unique experiences of what that looks like for people.

I live and work in Bristol, enjoying being within easy reach of open countryside and long walks with my dog. Being in nature and watching the season shift, each of them bringing their own joy, keeps me grounded.

The beauty of a sunrise, a sunset, the sound of the wind and water or a clear sky and a star filled night, nurture my soul, they help to bring balance and perspective to what I value and love about life.
